We are a community organisation based in Altona operating out of the Bayside Secondary School Woodshop on Millers Road. Membership is open to any skill level, both young and old.
There is a Membership Fee of $150 per year which covers subscription and insurance for members. The fee entitles you to the use of all the woodworking equipment owned by the club and the school, including hand tools, table saw, band-saw, thicknesser, wood lathes, routers, horizontal and vertical drills, docking saw etc. Fees are due in full at the beginning of each calendar year. Pro-rata fees are charged to members who join during the year and cover the period from the time of joining to 31 December. Family and Junior memberships also available. So, if you work with wood and enjoy the enormous satisfaction of creating lasting items from wood or even have an interest in wood, then why not give us a try. Reach out at [email protected] or visit on a Tuesday evening at the school wood room, come and have a cuppa and a chat. |
