Joining our Club
We welcome woodworkers of all skill levels from experienced to beginner. To find out more send us an email or call down to the club for a chat and a cup of coffee. You can come to the club for a couple of weeks before you commit to membership so that you can be sure that the club is right for you. We have a range of beginners projects if you don't have any prior woodworking experience and we will get you started on your woodworking journey in no time! The club meets on Tuesday evenings from 7p.m. to 9p.m. at the Woodworking Room at Bayside Secondary College, Altona North Campus, enter via the Millers Road gate. There is a Membership Fee of $150 per year which covers subscription and insurance for members. The fee entitles you to the use of all the woodworking equipment owned by the club and the school, including hand tools, table saw, band-saw, thicknesser, wood lathes, routers, horizontal and vertical drills, docking saw etc. Fees are due in full at the beginning of each calendar year. Pro-rata fees are charged to members who join during the year and cover the period from the time of joining to 31 December.
